Courtney Kopacz, RN

Courtney is an extraordinary person and nurse. The moment T (husband/patient) and I met her, there was an instant connection. T came in with COPD Pneumonia, could not breathe, and an O2 level of 82%. Her compassion for my feelings of anxiety and worry is something I have never experienced in any hospital staff. She would stop EVERYTHING she was doing to talk, explain, reason, and comfort not only T but his family as well. Unfortunately, due to the past couple of years, people seemed to lose faith in our health care system. Courtney used logic and problem-solving skills to ensure T was getting the best possible care. She would give us reasonings and explanations for everything they were doing and made us feel comfortable with all the decisions of treatment. I believe Courtney was put on this Earth to be a "Guardian ANGEL/Nurse to protect all that cross her path during this pandemic.
