I was admitted to the hospital. At that time I was diagnosed with stage 4 choriocarcinoma. Tumors metastasized to my lungs and brain. I had an emergency craniectomy and going home was nowhere in sight. I missed my son’s first birthday and my heart was broken. Carter went above and beyond. Carter bought my son an adorable book and left a beautiful note inside. It’s been over a year and that act of kindness still warms my heart. I think of Carter often and I will always be grateful for the care and love Carter gave. Thank you! You’ve changed my life forever.
