I was in the hospital with an infection. My nurse for the day was Courtney. She was so nice, so patient with me. I wanted to go home, and she explained over and over, as I am forgetful, why I couldn't. She sat with me at times and set my bed alarm to keep me safe. I was very thankful to have had her. She also let me sit at the nurses' station when I kept getting up without help.

Courtney convinced me to shower even when I didn't want to, and I felt better afterward. She joked with me and made me feel good even though I wanted to go home. She really took a lot of time to help me to feel better, making sure I would get my meds.

When my IV went bad, she convinced me to get another one and made sure I'd get my antibiotics. Courtney was amazing, and I love her. I would like her to come to my home. I know I was a tough patient, and she was calm and kind, always respectful.
