Courtney was my nurse during part of my hospital stay and she provided excellent patient care. I think that she will be a great nurse once she graduates! Great job

In the business of life these last two years, the simple act of kindness has been all but overlooked from those both giving it and receiving it. So when a patient called me into his room to tell me about how wonderful this student was and how professional she had been with him while providing care, I was delighted to know that someone, as sick as he was, actually took a moment to give recognition for a job well done. He was truly thankful for all her hard work that morning, appreciative for her kindness, friendly attitude, attention to detail, and making sure his doctor's orders were carried out correctly, all while making him feel secure and comfortable. He noticed that she cared, not only about her work but about him as a person and not just some other patient on the unit. And that's what nursing is really about, caring for others.
