Courtney was nominated by the wife of a patient who was admitted through our Emergency Department with acute renal failure. She described Courtney was patient, kind, attentive, thorough, and specific with questions and concerns. The patient was hospitalized for five days.
One night, he was struggling with detox symptoms. The wife said that Courtney was attentive to his medical needs but equally concerned about the stress and trauma that watching him caused for her. She states, "Not only did Courtney comfort my husband but consoled me at the same time; she was an angel, the perfect person at the proper time."
