Courtney was a phenomenal nurse who took care of me for 3 days when I was admitted with intracranial hypotension and subdural hematomas. The care she gave me was wonderful- like I was her own mother! She was so considerate and always asked if there was anything she could do for me or anything she could get for me. When I had a procedure done and was sick to my stomach, she gently washed the vomit out of my hair. Such an unbelievably caring, compassionate person - truly an angel of mercy. I felt she went way above and beyond the standard of care expected of a nurse. I highly recommend her for any employee recognition program that you have. UPMC is blessed to have Courtney!
