October 2023 Honoree
Courtney Monroe, BSN, RN
I was her patient twice under two very different circumstances, and she went out of her way to help me process my grief and loss when I had to deliver a stillborn boy. A year later, she heard I was back and was having an emergency C-section, and she came to visit and gave me a rainbow necklace for my newborn son as a memorial for the lost one. She was the nicest nurse I have had to date. And the only one who could manage to give me an IV.
Thank you, Courtney, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
