Courtney realized Mom was very distraught with her Alzheimer’s and called me to try to calm her down. She then realized that this was not helping and then sought permission for me to come in and see Mom. This immediately calmed my mother down, and before I got to my Mom, Courtney was talking with Mom to help console her by praying with her and just being there to hold her hand. This meant the world to me knowing Courtney took the time to not only pray, but relay to me some of the last words she was able to speak. Courtney also continued to check in with us even though she was no longer the nurse for the remainder of the week. She shows she cares for her patients while not only just at work. Her caring attitude was extraordinary.
