Nurse Courtney Edwards is having a very positive impact on my wife’s well-being. My wife has many medical and physical problems and we currently deal with seven Kaiser departments. Because of Courtney’s sharp analytical skills, very proactive nature, and initiative, she recognized the need for coordination and cooperation among these units to look beyond symptoms to causes and prevention. She has used the internal KP communications system, including digital photos to keep or alert appropriate KP departments appraised of my wife’s needs and condition. She is a strong, concise, and tactful communicator, and follows through. She is caring, gentle and efficient, and perfectly handles the fine line between professional detachment and personal involvement. She has effectively become my wife’s case manager and a great one. She is making a big difference. Truly she’s a DAISY Nurse!
