Courtney Rich, RN

Courtney Rich took on an emotionally difficult patient with a very complex social situation and a medical condition that was devastating for a labor and delivery patient. The patient was high acuity and needed increased levels of care and surveillance as well as patience toward the patient who was responding to a very hard situation. Courtney cared for her with amazing empathy and compassion, volunteering to be her nurse multiple shifts in a row. She gave her the most excellent care clinically, as she eagerly embraced taking on a situation that many with experience would prefer to avoid. The charge nurses, nurse manager, and other caregivers have nothing but admiration for her outstanding deliverance of care to this vulnerable patient.
