She was incredible. I had a very long labor, and I was induced with preeclampsia. She was with me for 13 hours. She was so supportive, funny, and compassionate. She even turned my bed so I could keep watching the Love Is Blind reunion special while staying in the wonky position I needed to be in so the epidural would travel to the right side of my body. And she was proactive - she stayed on top of what I needed and prepared me for what was coming. And she knew her stuff - she put me at ease for every necessary intervention.

Then, after going home and probably getting like 6 hours of sleep, she came back and was there for the delivery of our baby boy in the morning. It was such a blessing for me to be able to look her in the eyes when I was pushing and know “We’re in this together. She has my back.” Plus, she told me I “only pooped a little,” which I am sure was a lie, but it was very kind of her. When my husband and I tell our birth story, we tell everyone about Courtney and what a gift she was in an otherwise incredibly stressful time. She deserves every award!

Thank you, Courtney, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
