Courtney Taylor 2024, RN

A patient was scheduled for an EGD in the endoscopy unit. I called and got a quick report from Courtney Taylor; she was very professional and informative. The patient was very sick with GI bleeding, and the doctor wanted the blood started ASAP. I called Courtney and asked her if she could get the blood and bring a pump to the endoscopy to get this started. She did not hesitate and, on arrival, checked the blood with me. She helped me get it started on the pump, charting it, etc, as I was busy with the doctor trying to stop the bleeding with the surgeon. She jumped right in to help and went above and beyond because I knew she had several patients on the floor. I can't tell you how much I appreciate her willingness to help, her kindness to me, and her caring for patients. She deserves this recognition!
