Thank you for taking great care of my dad today! We appreciated your genuine caring and efficiency. I knew that he was in good hands with you. You exemplify the Allina values!
It's hard to quantify, but we could just feel in the way Courtney addressed my dad and our family that she was concerned for his well-being, comfort, and safety, and that was very genuine. Also, for my mom; Courtney realized she is hard of hearing and used a voice that was not overpowering but loud enough for them both to hear. She was empathetic to dad's needs and anticipated what he may need: walk, water, instructions/explanation/watching Jeopardy, and adjusted the timing of tasks/checks to accommodate this. Dad had 3 admissions in the month (this was the 3rd) and I got to be very particular in my assessments of the nursing care provided, and Courtney was my favorite.

Today was one of Courtney's patient's birthdays. Courtney attempted to find a card for the patient but was unable to find one, so she made a card for them with printer paper and crayons. This was a very sweet and caring gesture that she went out of her way to do. Thanks for being such a great nurse and coworker!
Courtney is an amazing nurse and is consistently recognized by her peers and patients for being not only the amazing nurse she is but an amazing person!
