Congratulations to Courtney Wingate BSN, RN from the B5 Medical Unit, Methodist Hospital's DAISY Award Honoree! Courtney reached out to her CNS, her charge nurse, and the primary team about her concerns for one of her patient's skin integrity, following chain of command and all wound care recommendations possible to prevent a pressure injury from happening. Due to her advocacy for her patient and her determination she helped keep a patient from developing a medical device related pressure injury.
