I’ll never be the same after meeting those selfless ones – they are heroes to us as we walk through this pandemic.
Choosing Grandview was all by prayer – God told me this is where I was to come. I’m thankful He did because of the beautiful caregivers He placed in my path for healing. This experience has been a learning journey – one of seeing how the behind-the-scenes heroes and caregivers give so much of themselves for others. I’ll never be the same after meeting those selfless ones – they are heroes to us as we walk through this pandemic. Grandview will be my first choice in the future because of the caregivers here and their total concern for excellent patient care. It is their gifts of concern and love – and I am so thankful to have been on the receiving end of their gifts! Thank you for this opportunity to award those that make a blessed difference. God is good all the time to let our paths cross during a pandemic. Isaiah 40:31

She was a precious one to me with her servant’s heart to do more, reassure me, and make my time here effective. I love her care, concern, and sweet humor too. The staff makes the difference and Annalee is an example of an earthly angel doing all that she can to get me well and home.

Jason is highly respected by his peers and those that work from across the organization. He gave me the time for questions and reassured me all along the way. His gift of kind-heartedness and uplifting words each time that he cared for me was greatly appreciated.

Katrina stepped into my room, and I could immediately see the sincerity in her spirit and I felt that I was in the right hands. She was so compassionate and we even prayed together. She answered my questions and I gained more understanding of what all was being done to get me well. It didn’t matter how many times I saw her, she made me feel calm and at peace.

Paige has a beautiful bedside manner that is so needed by us on the bedside because this can be scary not knowing what is going on. She was always there for me and helped me understand all the treatments and just plain made me feel at home. I love her cheerful, upbeat- even inspirational way of taking care of all I was going through. Precious heart, she is doing so much for all of us here.

Molly, a smart and precious-spirited PCA, was so kind to me in every encounter. She lifted my spirits with her gentle care and encouraged me with her talk and manner.

Chris was very kind and made sure he covered my needs each time he entered my room. I love his conversations – he gave me bible verses to remember and we shared our stories.

Shay was very attentive, friendly, cheerful, and helpful. She was always upbeat when you definitely need those around you to be just that. Getting to know her put me in prayer for her – as well as others – because they need to be appreciated for all that they do.

Azarea took such complete care of me and cheered me up each morning with her kind spiritedness. She talked with me and I even feel that we have a friendship. This is what makes a difference in an event of pandemic care. I love how I looked forward to her coming to my room.

When Heidi came in to take care of my needs, all was well. Her sweet and giving spirit made a huge difference in how I tackled each day. She was pulled in all directions but had the time to visit with me while she did her tasks. Lover her kindheartedness.
