Sunny Phillips takes care of our son who has a TBI. From day one she treated him like her own child. She talked to him even though he couldn't respond to her at the time. She always made sure he was comfortable and he was safe. As I went back to NC I felt like I had nothing to worry about because she would be there to make sure he was ok. I would call and she let me talk to him. She took time to reassure him he was going to be ok. She always told him I pray for you and you are going to be ok. Not only was she there to get him through the worst days; she was there for me. She let me cry it out and told me god is with you all and we have to keep the Faith.
Today after 11 months, she continues to show love to us. She can calm him down when he is so frustrated because he can't walk yet or sit up. She is definitely a special angel not only to our family, but others. She has the love and compassion to be a great nurse and a great woman. God bless her.
