Cristal Aguirre, CLPN

Cristal is one of the kindest, most compassionate nurses I have ever seen. There is no shortage of stories I can tell of where she went above and beyond to love on her patients, but a recent event was when a patient was extremely anxious starting chemo, and she told him as a reward she would bring him something and remembered his favorite Starbucks and brought it in with her that night to encourage him. She spends extra time with each patient getting to know them and care for them as a whole person, going above and beyond what's required of her. She's such a new nurse, but she has the heart of a seasoned one, and I'd love for her to be encouraged never to lose her compassion and empathy!
