Though only employed at Akron General for approximately 1 year, Cristal has demonstrated a high degree of professionalism and exemplary levels of clinical skill. She is well organized and always seems fully capable of handling the day to day pressures that come with the critical situations one encounters in the CVICU. She, in fact, functions at such a high skill level that I myself, though working at Akron General for 20 years, look to her as a role model, mentor, and example of professionalism. She is a consummate team player and I would consider her a "gift" to not only her colleagues but Cleveland Clinic Akron General health system.
Cristal is always an advocate for her patients. She goes above and beyond her duties as a nurse. Cristal also is a great educator to her fellow nurses. She is the prime example of an Extraordinary Nurse.
