Our world changed completely when we heard our little one's diagnosis. At just two months old, he underwent his third open heart surgery in order to give him hope for life. Upon arrival at the UCIP, he was given excellent care in general. But there was someone who, in addition to taking our child's medical care, went further with special attention to those small details that sometimes don't matter, but that for parents whose child is between life and death, those details mean something, such as giving them the opportunity to hold him for as long as possible, sleep him, even be with him, even if this means delaying him a step in his work also at the same time. So, some worried parents took the time to offer words of encouragement that sometimes one needs to hear. All this, together with remarkable experience and knowledge, makes Christian a person who shaped our lives in an immensely positive way.
