She is amazing and always seeks her staff out to recognize and manage them up. She is a servant leader- always a good role model and fair in her dealings with staff. She is very visible and rounds often in the unit with her happy smile, and disposition despite the busyness we welcome her presence in the unit. She brings us goodies, snacks, and food. She provides us the opportunity to grow as new nurses - providing us tools so we can be better nurses by setting the bricks/stones to the "emerald city" as she says so we have tools in our toolbox to be better equipped and safe nurses. She is exemplary with the only leader with no HAPI in the last skin quarterly audits - leading 6cb, 7s3, 7s4/5 no HAPI and NICU CLABSI free despite juggling and leading multiple units. She takes the time to check on us and develop a relationship with each one of us. She is a DAISY Nurse Leader and we will never trade her for anyone else.
