My husband and I had never had this nurse during his infusions before. However, this day was very different because of her care. She was very kind and compassionate with him from the time she came and took him into the room. She made absolutely sure he was warm and comfortable before she began anything. This day was a different experience, to say the least. My husband is a 14-year cancer patient with a lot of issues. She was kind and very considerate of all of his needs. She was knowledgeable and sweet, kind and gentle with him. She knew after our conversation during his infusion that we would need to go to your ER as advised to us that morning by one of my husband’s physicians to have my husband checked. Cristy walked him to the ER and spoke to them for us as the ordering physician of the infusion had Cristy leave an IV in my husband’s port for access if needed. She gave them info regarding his port and made sure to get us where we needed to be. By the way, he was admitted that day. Hopefully on the road to recovery soon. So “BRAVO” to Cristy. She is essential, kind, patient, and understanding. You need people like her! Thank you so much.
