The Critical Care Resource Nurse Team provides an exceptional level of clinical support to the nursing and medical staff to ensure that the patients entrusted to our care receive the very best care possible while here at Boston Medical Center.
While their knowledge and expertise are certainly appreciated during Rapid Response, Code Stroke, Trauma, and Code Blue situations, more often they are working behind the scenes collaborating with other disciplines and preventing such emergencies from occurring at all. They take the time to educate the newer nurses and residents by sharing their own pearls of clinical wisdom. They serve also as advocates for both our patients and their families. They are a vital member of the healthcare team at Boston Medical Center and improve the care of every patient they touch. They are more than deserving of this honor and award.
