My colleagues and I observed extraordinary acts of kindness as she worked with the people of Guatemala during our immersion experience this spring. She has extraordinary compassion for the underserved. Her leadership was evident as she was a problem solver and a planner for the rest of the students in the group. Her presence in Guatemala made a significant impact not only on the people who live there, but on our group as well. Crystal has also been a great team member in her didactic classes, being the first to volunteer to help when help is needed. She is team-oriented, dependable, and exemplifies professionalism.
