Recently, Crystal Robertson, RN, CC on PCU, when out of her way to help ease the anxiety of a patient pending discharge. The patient was very worried about leaving in time to get to his next assignment. With no family in town, he desperately needed to iron his shirt and pants. He would be traveling from LGHM to his job. Crystal brought her iron from home to the patient prior to his discharge. The patient was so grateful and immediately felt less stressed.
