After having such a scary experience, Crystal truly demonstrated compassion and care for me, a total stranger.
Crystal Davis was only one of the nurses who checked on me after having a stroke. While all of the people who checked in on me and cared for me, Crystal was overall the most personable and friendly! After having such a scary experience, Crystal truly demonstrated compassion and care for me, a total stranger. I enjoyed talking with her while she had to do her job of making sure I was doing well. She made the whole experience for me less scary. She had such a positive attitude and was a pleasure to be around. Having to wake me up hourly to check on me somehow wasn’t a problem for me because she was so nice. I believe Crystal is a perfect role model for how every nurse should strive to be. She listened to me and made me feel very comfortable. I’m grateful to have been brought to this hospital after the terrifying experience I went through and especially grateful for her. I hope she gets informed that I truly appreciate the care she gave me. When I left the ICU and got to see her and say goodbye, we both said jokingly, “I hope I never see you again,” but truthfully, I hope I encounter her in another setting (not a hospital) so I can give her a hug!
