My mom, C, has been a patient at Rex for over a month. She is very ill, but she also suffers from depression and severe anxiety. Crystal has been a God-send to my mother. She has genuine compassion. She takes the time to listen, which means so much when you are in the hospital. I understand she is a nurse, but she has been so much more. She always appears in the room with a big smile. She makes my mother feel better and important. She loves my mom. I am positive she gives this care to everyone she meets. She never seems to get frustrated or tired of her patients.

My mother knows that Crystal will follow through and do a lot more than check vitals and give drugs. Crystal never appears too busy to help. I know nurses are overworked but you would never get that impression from Crystal. I believe that God has angels on this earth. My mom and I believe that Crystal is one of these angels. I wish I could put into words how special she is and what an asset she is to your nursing staff. Crystal stops in to say hi to my mom even if she isn’t her assigned patient. Wish you had more nurses like Crystal!
