Crystal Fierro is an exceptional labor and delivery nurse. She is the whole package and comes in willing to trust both her peers and leaders. She gladly takes on any assignment without hesitation. Crystal is an outstanding patient advocate, efficient, and thorough. Her kindness, compassion, and passion is palpable. Her patients cannot say enough about her attention to detail, and her purposeful and meaningful intent to serve and provide excellent care. Crystal is always humble and honored to get to serve her patients. She not only provides excellent care to her patients, but she is also the epitome of what a team player is. Crystal is positive and never complains even in some very tough situations.

Crystal is our DAISY Award winner because of the exemplary care she provides daily. Crystal leads by example when it comes to both work ethic and attitude. Her posture and approach are one that all leaders, patients, team members, and physicians love. Crystal doesn’t just know the mission and service standards, but she lives it and walks it out daily.
