When Crystal first started working in our department as Dr. B’s RN, it was hard to tell if she would catch on and stay. She is responsible for scheduling patients’ surgeries, creating schedules for Dr. B’s office, and keeping track of his call schedule and his personal calendar (meetings, vacation, etc.). Since then, she has become an amazing addition to our team. Crystal is always willing to help, even if she is busy. She never complains about her workload. Crystal is always taking the initiative to help with the call pool, messages, etc., even when she isn’t assigned to it. She will help cover other providers as well. Currently, she has been covering two providers and doing an amazing job. She is so patient and kind with every patient she encounters. She doesn’t let her workflow or busy day get in the middle of her excellent patient care ethic. I feel that Crystal deserves to be recognized for all her hard work because it does not go unnoticed.
