On Tuesday, Crystal and C came in on their off day to wash and style one of their patient's hair. They bought special shampoo and treatments for this patient with their own money. This patient had been in our facility for over 40 days and her hair was extremely matted, to the point most thought it could not be fixed or saved. It took them hours to work on her hair. After lunch, the patient was transferred to another floor, but that didn't stop Crystal and C. They gathered their supplies and went to the next floor to finish their work on her hair. After several more hours, they were finished.
Because of the selfless acts of Crystal and C, this woman's hair did not have to be cut short or shaved. They worked hours to make sure this patient would get to keep her hair. Thank you, Crystal and C, for your passion for your patients.
