My parents were traveling south on I-81 from New York to their home in Tennessee. They were involved in a single car crash. Mom died. Dad was driving and suffered non-life-threatening injuries. As you can imagine, the psychological pain was immense. Crystal not only took care of my dad's physical needs with professionalism and patience, but she also took the time to listen and comfort. From Crystal's caring actions, I would have thought that my dad was her only patient. We know, however, that that is not true. Nurses like Crystal make the hurt bearable and the healing process a successful journey to recovery. Crystal has a gift for nursing and caring that should be emulated.
