My wife, only 23, had her kidney removed because of cancer. After being on a rollercoaster of figuring out medicine and schedules and the recovery processes she had to go through we had a long day and were exhausted. Crystal Nash walked in and was a ray of sunshine. She started by telling my wife her medicine schedule and talked through everything she was going to do for her that night. It was so relieving to have an idea of what was going on. At my wife’s call despite being busy Crystal was always there to help and take care of her. She was personable, honest, incredibly helpful, and went above and beyond just taking care of my wife. She made her feel comfortable, relieved, and in good hands. Crystal came to the room throughout the night bringing pillows and walking us through things. My wife had made little progress in her recovery until Crystal came and by the end of her shift, she had my wife completing every recovery step she had to take to get discharged. The difference she made was unbelievable. She even came to the room when her shift was over to tell us that she was leaving and what we could expect for the day. She was so personable and the best nurse we’ve had by far. We are so grateful for her service to us and how amazing and helpful she was.

Crystal went above and beyond to assist me while I was staying overnight after surgery. She was persistent in checking on me throughout the night shared personal stories to ease the worry of my stay and was an overall ray of sunshine with her personality. Crystal made sure to come at the exact times my medications were due explained things in ways I could understand about what she was doing had my feelings in mind the entire time and was also able to juggle aiding other patients incredibly. She made me feel as if I was the only person on the floor. Crystal gave me the encouragement I needed to strive to get better and I was excited to show her my progress throughout the night on things she had tasked me. Crystal is the absolute definition spot on of what a nurse is and deserves all of the recognition in the world. She truly changed my life with how I was treated in such a short time. I am so thankful I was able to have her as my night shift nurse she is single-handedly the only reason I was able to improve during my stay.
