Crystal served as my preceptor. She was always early and organized which was great. She seemed really excited to be orienting and told me about her previous experiences. She constantly told me what a great job I was doing and was always very encouraging. Crystal was always willing and able to answer questions. She always connected with those patients who were reported as being not being compliant with their medical regimens and ensured that they took their medications and had their complete assessments and treatments. I have learned how to provide better patient care and communication because of her. I know that I still have a ways to go but she made me feel comfortable and confident with my skills as a nurse and really makes me believe I can be successful once off orientation. She is an absolutely amazing preceptor!
