I recently spoke with the wife of a patient nearing the end of life, and she shared a number of concerns about her husband's care. Despite the earlier issues, she said everything changed when she met Crystal Sharps, RN. Her face lit up when describing Crystal's warm, supportive demeanor. Crystal treated her husband with dignity and respect, anticipating his needs and working to ensure they were met. The patient's wife's number one wish was for a hospital full of nurses like Crystal.
