Crystal was acknowledged by the Stroke Coordinator and family members who wanted her acknowledged for being a patient advocate in the face of new left eye vision loss and a potential new stroke. The nurse was on top of the NIHSS and the need for further testing that led to necessary treatment and a more positive outcome.
