Crystal showed exceptional nursing skills and compassion, not only for Mom, but also for her family. When Crystal found out that two of us would be staying in the room with Mom, she went out of her way to get us another lounge chair. On several occasions she asked us if she could get is anything. Without being asked she brought us blankets and pillows. Her bright smile and compassionate care for our loved one will be remembered forever.
Another time, Mom needed help going to the bathroom so I left the room and Crystal saw me standing in the hallway and came to see if everything was ok. When I told her Mom's needs, she went to help. Crystal was helping in every way humanly possible when Mom passed. We knew that when Mom passed that it was Crystal's first experience ever losing a patient and she was just amazing. She treated our Mother like she was her own. Crystal will always have a special place in our hearts.
