Crystal Thompson, BSN, RN

Recently we had a suspected domestic violence situation. Crystal really took the time to comfort the patient, make sure that she left safe, and made sure the patient knew she would talk with her. Crystal is always making sure that our patients feel heard, and safe. She treats all patients the same, from those that need stitches to critically ill patients who are scared for their life. Crystal also makes it a priority to keep the staff she works with safe and to make sure their mental health is being taken care of. She pulls people aside and talks with them 1:1 when they feel off. She is devoted to resiliency within our department. She is truly a huge asset to the ED.
