March 2012 Honoree
crystal totty, RN
My wife, MA had Neurosurgery on 08/10/11 and was moved in to the ICU that afternoon. While all the nurses on duty were extremely nice, Christy always took special care to explain everything she was going to do, and was as gentle as she could possibly be in moving MA, giving her injections or pushing IV fluids and medications. She even was kind enough to gently place pills in to Michele's mouth as her hand/eye (or maybe hand/mouth) coordination was off. She is a true credit to the nursing profession, the professionals at Methodist Hospital and the Neuro ICU.
Thank you, Crystal, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
