I am writing to formally express my sincere appreciation for the team of professionals and administrative staff at the CTU in the Lennar Foundation Medical Center, who provided my care over the course of several months, during a total of 24 chemotherapy sessions. It is important to me that you are fully aware of the exceptional impact this team has had on my experience as a patient.
I attended my first session in a state of profound fear and uncertainty. Confronting a cancer diagnosis is an experience for which no one is ever prepared, and in my case it was especially painful, as only two months earlier my sister had lost her battle with the same type of cancer with which I was diagnosed. I arrived at the CTU that day with a heavy heart, overwhelmed by anxiety.
Over the months that followed, however, the professionalism, dedication, compassion, and human warmth demonstrated by this team transformed that initial fear into serenity, strength, and hope.
On the date of my final chemotherapy session, I experienced a deep sense of gratitude for having completed the treatment, accompanied by the sadness of parting from those who had become an essential source of support throughout this challenging process.
I wish to formally acknowledge the exemplary performance of the following individuals, whose commitment and vocation made a meaningful difference in my physical and emotional well-being:
In light of the above, I respectfully request that the institution continue to promote, recognize, and support the work of this team, whose performance represents an invaluable asset to the University of Miami Health System. Their ability to combine clinical excellence with genuine human sensitivity stands as one of the system’s greatest strengths.
Following my diagnosis, I can state with conviction that receiving care at this institution has been one of the greatest blessings within an otherwise difficult journey. Thanks to this team, I now feel stronger, more confident, and filled with renewed hope for my recovery.
Thank you for your attention to this message and for the leadership that enables professionals of this caliber to carry out their work with excellence.
