Cyndal Jones, RN

Cyndal Jones took care of me on the morning of my surgery, and she made a world of difference in my experience. The last time I had surgery, I absolutely panicked being wheeled into the OR, and I told her this. She made sure to tell the Anesthesiologist and CRNA so they could give me something to keep me calm beforehand. But what really helped before they visited my room was the way she cared for me. She eased my nerves by telling me about herself and her husband and getting me to laugh. She navigated the prep for my surgery so well, although some of the steps were uncomfortable - she helped me realize I was in good hands and I could relax knowing she was showing me such compassion.

Cyndal may not even realize the impact she had on me that day, but I still think about how grateful I am for her that morning, even weeks later. She’s a natural at patient care and effortlessly relaxes and comforts everyone she comes across. I’ve never encountered a nurse who stuck with me the way she has, and for that, I want to ensure she knows how special she is.
