Cyndi Meuse, RN
Cindy has gone above and beyond to serve my mama with excellence. My mother has been living with both mental and physical disabilities for the past 20 years. Her mental health played a big part in her recovery from a knee replacement. She was so anxious about falling that she practically glued herself to her walker.
When my mother doesn’t get her psych meds or when they are altered, she finds herself in psychosis. Schizophrenia is the least difficult symptom to manage during those episodes. I kept telling her nurses that she has to have her meds or they will have a serious issue. I felt myself going blue in the face and not having the issue resolved; it was causing serious anxiety for me.
This was until Cyndi. She was like a superhero. She advocated for my mother fiercely and made every one of us seen and heard. Cyndi is the exception, not the rule. Praise God for her. My mother has her meds and is steadily improving.
