Cynthia was honored with the DAISY Award for the special care she gave a dying woman, whose beliefs called for unique attention and assistance. The patient was an osteopath and naturalist who had special beliefs and values. She also had no family with her. Cynthia spent much time learning her patient's special needs and attempting to meet them.
