Cindy is an excellent RN. She is so kind and patient. She asks what my needs are, then triaged her plan for the morning. An elderly man next door was in misery; he didn’t want to take his pills, drink, nothing. She gently talked with him and he became more reasonable. After partaking in all of the above, [someone]-- I presumed she and a family member or staff – no, correction, it was the wife-- said “You couldn’t wait to go to the bathroom”. Cindy said this happens sometimes and cleaned him again.

Later in the day the patient's wife, daughter, and son were over, all laughing and having a good time. They said Dad we’ll call you with the Croatian soccer score.

No staff or Cindy ever said a word, but face it--we all overhear things. Cindy does the right things when no one is looking. Then I too had an accident she soothed me as she did him and took my soiled clothes to be cleaned – she said remind me in an hour and I’ll put them in the dryer and bring them back to you. Cindy is smart, and easy, knows her job is a reward to others and she offers herself. I’m happy to have her as my nurse.
