The first full weekend in November was incredibly busy - spontaneous labors, C-sections, a baby awaiting transfer to the NICU, inductions on hold - not an empty room on the unit and they were also quite understaffed with all that was happening. With her usual competent, expert, calm demeanor, Cynthia guided the unit through a very hectic, unusual day. Mere words can't possibly express the tumultuousness of the day or my gratitude for her guiding hand.
