June 2021 Honoree
Cynthia Chagadama, RN
Everyone in the neuro ICU was outstanding but one nurse was exceptional. I met her on my first day of arriving from international travel, USA, to come and see my mother who was in neuro ICU for 3 weeks. Cynthia was very caring, listened with a kind ear to our concerns, and always had a quick solution to any challenge. She taught us what it meant to offload my mother’s ankles and elbows, and provided many practical tips. But most importantly, she shared with us her wisdom and experience to give us hope that my mother may improve over time. She made us feel at home here and become part of our family. I look forward to sharing good news with Cynthia about my mother’s recovery in the near future.
Thank you, Cynthia, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
