Cynthia was my nurse during labor, and I can't say enough good about her. I had so many amazing nurses during my stay, but Cynthia is one that stands out. She kept me informed throughout labor, helped make me comfortable so I could rest, and coached me through pushing. My baby was in a position that wasn't optimal for delivery, so Cynthia had me lay in different positions to try to get him to turn. Thanks to her knowledge in different positions, we were able to get him to turn!

After delivering, my baby needed interventions to help him breathe. My husband was terrified watching everyone with our baby, so Cynthia stood with him and explained everything that was being done and why. This was huge for my husband. One of the biggest things that meant so much to me was how present Cynthia was after I gave birth. She helped me to and from the bathroom over and over. She made sure I was safe while still letting me be as independent as I could be.

After we were moved to the post partum side, Cynthia stayed late to help when I continued to bleed and my baby needed intervention at the same time. Cynthia relieved so much stress for us during our stay. My husband says that his experience would have been much more traumatic if it weren't for Cynthia taking the time to explain everything to him and calm his nerves.

Thank you, Cynthia, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
