Cynthia was the ER charge nurse during an incredibly difficult time when my father-in-law was brought into the ER by ambulance while simultaneously his wife was being taken off of life support in the ICU.

Cynthia demonstrated compassion and patient-centered care by allowing/facilitating my father-in-law to share the last few minutes with his wife of 35 years.

I thank Cynthia for showing not only excellent critical thinking skills but also empathy.
