August 2025 Honoree
Cynthia Mota, RN
Mrs. Cynthia Mota is a person I look up to not only for her character but also as a nurse. When I started the program, she was the head teacher for our LVN program and always kept us as a priority. Come to find out she was also in the LVN to RN bridge program. She is one of the hardest-working, motivating, and inspiring people I have had the pleasure of meeting. It is hard enough to be in a nursing program, and she still kept everything together for us.
She has recently become our theory instructor, and it is clear how hard she works for us and keeps us encouraged. I also get to see her on the floor as a nurse at clinicals at the hospital. She is a force to be reckoned with. She is kind, hard-working, honest, and approachable for any questions I have had. I hope someday I can be as passionate a nurse as she is because she has given us the best example.

Thank you, Cynthia, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
