Cindy was always professional, kind, caring, compassionate, knowledgeable, and thorough.
Cindy's patient was admitted to NCH through the emergency room. Her patient was unable to have a family member here during her admission. In addition, the patient was not familiar with NCH and none of her medical records were accessible to help with care decisions and discharge plans. Communication was very difficult. The patient needed more care than her daughter could provide. Cindy took time on multiple occasions out of her busy day to call the patient's daughter on the phone and explain everything in a way, which helped the daughter make care decisions for her mother. Once the plans were made for discharge, Cindy made sure all of the information was communicated. She was always professional, kind, caring, compassionate, knowledgeable, and thorough. Cindy was a HUGE comfort to the patient's daughter. Cindy is an Extraordinary Nurse!
