Cynthia advocated for a patient's comfort care and dignity. Clearly, the family was resistant to the patient's wishes. With advocacy and extreme compassion and diligence, Cynthia was able to assemble the team and family working towards the wishes of the patient; those being comfort and death with dignity. The patient was placed on comfort care with family support and died shortly after with family around him and in a comfortable, most dignified state.
