Professor Johnson supports and enhances students’ learning experiences with the teaching style that she has created while attending to student input. Her prerecorded lectures allowed me to enter her class each week already feeling prepared to discuss the material, allowing me to participate fully in case studies and activities she prepared. It was obvious that she put countless hours into her class preparation. Between the posters of cardiac conditions, the mix and match for developmental milestones, and the real-life case studies, Professor Johnson created a class that I actually looked forward to attending. If she felt she did not explain something as clearly as she hoped, she made sure to clarify the subject to make sure we understood before continuing. I did not feel like I was simply being lectured at; rather, I felt like Professor Johnson was actively facilitating my learning and growth.
